I think i've been abandoned so many times that it doesn't phase me anymore. I almost expect its inevitable these days. Whenever I meet someone new, I think.........its just a matter of time and i'm largely unaffected by it. They can get out of my life, I will hold the door open for them.

Mine is doing it to me now. I was hospitalized, so she reckons she's not good enough for me. But really, she wants to work in a different location. What's bothersome is the "this is for you" crap she's trying to put over on me...

I guess I've been really lucky to have had the same one for over twenty years. I haven't seen her in a few years, and I've relocated, but I'm sure she would see me, or talk to me anytime. That's what you need, don't be hesitant to shop for one that suits you and wants to be there for ya. The trust required to express openly hinges on the quality of the relationship. Find a great one!
