Personality Type

Postby AgentSmith » Mon Feb 02, 2015 2:03 am

I was wondering what Personality Type most AvPDs are, if one stands out more than another... I just took this test and got ISTJ. The description is pretty accurate for me.

Personality:
INFP
Variant:
Turbulent
Role:
Diplomat

You are one of the Diplomats - an empathic and idealistic individual who enjoys exploring interesting ideas and prizes morality. You are known for your poetic nature, intuitive skills and pure, childlike enthusiasm. Above you will find a brief overview of your personality traits - proceed to the type overview to learn much more about your personality type. Prepare to be impressed.

Mind -Extraverted Introverted 26%
Energy -Intuitive Observant 36%
Nature Thinking Feeling 18%
Tactics Judging Prospecting 30%
Identity Assertive Turbulent 30%

I see myself more as an INTP(architect) than INFP, indeed the lesser score of mine was Thinking vs Feeling, nevertheless lately I have become more F and less T, as my latest test appointed.

I am INFJ. I didn't do this particular test though I think I have done it before so I can't print out the results for you. But I always come out as INFJ in personality tests.

I have taken those tests a few times. They normally come out as INFP. But close to being INTP.

INFP every time.
This particular role goes by several names including "healer", "idealist", and "dreamer", I think dreamer/idealist fits me pretty well. Although I have a pretty clear view of how the world really is, I just wish it wasn't that way.

Took a certain test (I think it was one of the 'official' ones) and if I recall, I'm a diplomat with a turbulent variant.

I read here (http://www.celebritytypes.com) that INFP's had the highest prevalence among AvPD sufferers, "strongly linked" apparently.
self dx. pdd-nos (level 1); covert narcissism w/ avoidant traits; social phobia; inertia.

INFP; dismissive/fearful-avoidant & highly sensitive person
