You can still be outspoken, even rebellious and confrontational and still be admired though. We all admire different things, different qualities in people maybe. Not sure I've phrased that very well but hopefully you get what I mean.

You don't have to conform to be admired :)

I don't think I'm dedicated enough to it though.

My type should be obvious from my nickname.

It is,I just like to be sure

I also don't agree with some features that are empasized in 4, though I do agree with many. For instance, it is suggested that Romantics love compliments, and I can't agree with it completely. Although I do not deny that I ike to be complimented for my efforts, I don't like to be complimented excessively. I just don't like too much of attention. That could be because I am avoidant and I guess not all Romantics are avoidant.

Your subtype should also give you some clue and clarification. If you don't identify with the whole thing, this could be because you have some other features which mitigate the picture.

I know,it's actually the opposite!(reply to that admiration thing Ronni said lol)

Anyway,I think I kinda don't feel superior enough to be a 3 and I don't even wanna be 'superior'.Actually,I'm not sure what exactly is it I want, probably something lame, but I guess I feel that to get it I have to be 'superior'.

To get (kinda) back to the topic of compliments,I think a 3 would be more appreciative of work related ones or very concrete and factual ones and for me emotional reactions are more meaningful.Yeah,I like being told I'm the prettiest, the smartest or whatever, but that's really just the base for "I love you","I hate you","You intrigue me",etc.Does that make any sense?

HR,being avoidant definitely plays a part.Like,I'm most likely not avoidant and I sometimes fear too much praise at a time because I fear I might do something wrong which will somehow disappoint people.Like,if someone is complimenting my looks I'm afraid I could do a weird face that will make me look ugly or if they tell me I'm smart I could say something really dumb.
Btw,do you know your wing?3 wing should definitely like compliments,at least if fear isn't present, but I don't think 5 should care much at all.

Compliments are not well-received, especially compliments about my appearance.

Wings??? I don't have wings

What are they? Part of the enneagram thing?

Actually I think I have seen them somewhere; might even have been someone posting on here and I think I did work it out. No idea what it was though.

And Rigning I don't like being complimented on my appearance either. Possibly because I don't think people should be judged on how they look.

Lol wings are kinda what other type is the closest to you,but it has to be number next to the one you are.Like,if I'm a 3 I can be either 3w2 or 3w4.

I didn't get wings in my test. I got a subtype 5. 4 is dominant though.

I work with my brains, so I don't like if people would start complimenting my looks. I would feel that they are indirectly telling that I am dumb. But then again I like to put attention to my looks, because to be honest, I feel insecure about my looks, though people think I am attractive (but in some original kind of way, not typical).

I will have to look that up. Important to know what your wings are :)

The online test I did really wasn't that scientific and didn't mention wings. Which tests were you using for this? Curious now.

I'm not really a follower of fashion. I would say my look is kind of classic, stylish, but a little quirky too for work. But at home I am very much a combat jeans and fleece kind of person. And definitely not a girly girl. I have to say I don't really care that much. And often I just see the person and not what they're wearing. So unless they walk in with a radical haircut or something I honestly just don't notice. All I see is the person, not what they are wearing.

I don't do tests because I always subconsciously lie a lot.I go to personality cafe and talk to people who know about that stuff and I read things online if they tell me to read them, that way it's easier.
Lol,it's a long, difficult process, but I have nothing better to do for at least one month of every summer and winter.

Btw,I love my looks being complimented, but I don't care about clothes much because I don't have enough money for things I want anyway. It just has to be somewhat trendy and make my body look good.
But I do judge based on looks, mostly clothes, hair and makeup which is ok,I think because you can often really tell a lot about person based on those.Well, maybe not about who they are deep, deep down but you can tell if they'd have some things in common with you.
