I'm prescribed the anti-psychotic risperidone which I find has been immensely helpful. I take 1mg a day and it calms my mind down.

I was prescribed 0.5 mg tablets of risperidone early last year. My irritability and anxiety were significantly reduced, but it caused my weight to increase, so I discontinued use three weeks ago.
I'm now prescribed ziprasidone, which is far more effective than risperidone at mitigating anger. However, there are significant side effects that nullify the benefits such as: fatigue, tiredness, and dizziness. These side effects completely incapacitate me when combined, and subsequently worsen my quality of life.
It begs the introspective question: What are you willing to sacrifice for a perceived benefit?
