My new counselor

Hello I've been seeing a counselor for a while and he was a counsel for 25 or 30 years now I'm seeing a woman because he left and went to work somewhere else I saw her for the first time a few days ago she had me to update information and she asked me if I had ever been tested for autism she said she noticed some autistic traits they are treating me for depressive disorder and independent personality disorder also have mild retardation aunt believes that I may have ADHD my cousin has it and some of of my other cousins are getting tested for it they think they may have it to by her saying that she saw autistic traits do you think there's a good chance that I may have autism to

I'd say that it's possible, but the only way to know for sure is to be assessed. Do you observe any autistic traits in yourself? I'm an Aspie, and learned I was on the spectrum about 4 years ago. I was officially diagnosed in March.
Normal is overrated :D

I'm not sure if this counts as autistic trait but I sit around and line coins up in row and make shapes out of them and pill bottles too I stack them on each other I have always had trouble in school I was in ld classes for every subject I was passed on d and f
I get close to people when I talk to them Difficulty reading facial expressions and body language.Talks excessively about one or two topics (dinosaurs, movies, etc.).i am really in to fantasy Apparent lack of concern for personal hygiene (hair, teeth, body odours). That some that I know I do
