Oh, I found it there's a lot about the "ability" in wikipedia it's called Synethesia.

I was in Target buying banannas and the cashier called them "yellows". I think that makes sense though if she would have called them purples well, that would have been pretty weird.

Letters with personalities, which ones do you think might have a disorder I know the O does probably because it doesn't have a point and the Q must be histrionic for trying to copy the O.

I guess this could go on indefinitely .. well, at least to 26.

Goodnite, I hope my dinner tastes good.
All right, Mr. DeMille, I'm ready for my close-up

I agree with you about Kayla and Joan. Joan sounds strong and earthy to me too. If you don't want to formally change your name, you could maybe shorten Kayla to Kay, or simply K.

Your brain sounds like an interesting place to be.

I tend to see 'faces' or animals in a lot of things, such as a crumpled leaf or a pile of rubbish. It's just as well that I don't believe in holy apparitions, otherwise I'd probably be trying to sell off half my possessions on eBay because they look like Jesus or the Virgin Mary. :mrgreen:

Hahah once I saw a picture of broccoli in a health book and I SWEAR I thought it was a beautiful painting done in all green of a woman in a forest. I had to read the description below to realize that it wasn't. And I had to try really hard to even get anyone to see the figure of a woman. I can clearly recall the image now.

Yeah I used to like to squint at foggy water glasses cuz I could 'see' things in it. When I was younger I'd close my eyes really tight and all the light spots and stuff would make shapes to me. I'd kind of think i could see scenes too. I sorta thought I was psychic or something. Oh gosh. i had a few strange beliefs as a kid. In 5th grade I was convinced this one kid was a vampire. So you could say I was / am inclined to dellusional thinking. I also thought that Dracula lived in a tree near my house since it 'leaked' . Yeah I realize now- that was just tree sap >-<! My 'delusions' are pretty funny to think about now.

I also refused to admit that Santa wasn't real til I was about 12. XD;

Tree sap is pretty, particularly when it catches the light. I can see how you could think it was blood. (And perhaps in a sense it is?)

Hehe, my parents didn't tell me about Santa. Or the Tooth Fairy or Easter Bunny etc. I got presents, but they were always from my parents. I thought I was the smartest little kid because I was 'in' on the adults' secret, and all the other children thought Santa was real. 8)

Yeah a lot of things I realized later than most kids. I've always felt a few years behind in some ways. It's probably why I am so immature. There I said it! I admitted I'm immature. I'm like a big kid in a lot of ways.

Yeah ..I just wanted to hang onto Christmas forever. Now I don't like Holidays. XD;

Aw dang Platypus you were such a cool kid ;O.
