Increased effects of regular release adderall?

Postby afink87 » Wed Feb 13, 2013 3:56 am

I've been on and off adderall for about 12 years. Lately the side effects are so bad, lost of appetite, but this time I CAN'T force myself to eat. My blood sugar feels lower, headaches, my stomach just feels weird (not numb but shakey feeling.
Is this because of my increased age, or have they changed? I was on XR growing up but am on regular release because XR keeps me up at night.

Hi,

My name is Lily. I just joined this forum.
I'm sorry that you're feeling so horrible ):

Now that you're taking the instant release instead of the extended release, have you increased your dosage? I take the instant release right before my evening classes and it really makes me lose my appetite. I can eat normal on the extended but the instant really makes my mouth dry for some reason. I don't think its because of your age, I think it might just be the instant release causing you to lose your appetite. I'm not a doctor so I'm not sure..that's just my guess.

What about eating before you take the adderall and then after it wears off? If it really is THAT bad you need to see your doctor because you have to eat. I think the headaches and shakey feeling have to do with you not eating. Please do something about this before you get really sick. Good luck!
