Could it be possible that...

Postby EBR » Tue Mar 13, 2012 4:25 pm

...a certain former moderator and ex-member was actually singlehandedly keeping this place interesting? I mean my god, what a drag... What happened to all the intriguing tidbits of information and lively post?

Am I the only one thinking this or has this place really become dreadfully boring? Any ideas to improve the situation?

I would recommend a solo flight to all prospective suicides. It tends to make clear the issue of whether one enjoys being alive or not.

No, you are not the only one.

I have no idea.

Idea 1: Naked Wednesdays..scroll down for piccy of me with my plums on show :)

I hear he/she/it that you mention posts under several pseudonyms and he/she/it is actually 85% of the members on this forum!

I suppose this person was good at gathering pertinent information and posting it to spark off discussions. Maybe we just need somone to fill that void. Or.....

Idea 2: ...didn't this person maintain their own blog somewhere? Maybe you could ask them to come back via the medium of the blogosphere.

Sounds like a terrible idea... will pass on that one...

That is a good possibility; I do agree that if anyone finds an interesting read that could be beneficial to all, it would be a very nice gestutre share that information

Idea 2: ...didn't this person maintain their own blog somewhere? Maybe you could ask them to come back via the medium of the blogosphere.

Will look into that; its atleast worth the effort no matter how slim the chance. Hopefully he/she goes under the same username.

I think for this to truly be a viable method of diagnosis, the cost of testing on such equiptment would have to be drastically reduced otherwise I can forsee doctors prematurely drawing the wrong conclusions due to insufficient testing. I do believe it is a correct step foward and Im assuming that once technology improves, possibly within the next few decades, it could actually be a precise method of procuring an early diagnosis thus making treatment that much more possible.

That's what I was thinking when I read this thread, one of their interests seemed to be Asperger's (or, 'the brain' or whatever), so we'd either need someone with an interest in Asperger's to sign-up and post that sort of stuff again, or we all post about our interests.

If we all posted about our interests it wouldn't really work, as going to a forum based on that subject would be more logical.

Also, I think they did contribute well on other aspects of the forum too than just providing articles.

Not that anyone was saying that.

Agh. This post is completely pointless.
