I hear the phone when it doesn't ring shortly after taking the night meds and if I am really confused and tired of thinking.

I know I hear things, but I do put it down to morphine. Didn't know it was/could be a trait of autism.

way back when i initially had problems with my former employer, i got so anxious that i went almost completely catatonic. that was by far the worst that i'd ever been. i remember having electric shocks running through my body, as the nervous energy occasionally discharged through me. and i vaguely recall hearing things that weren't there, though it's such a distant memory that i can't now recall exactly what. it seemed to me that the neural pathways in my brain were in some way randomly fusing together. it was so bad that it left me with tinnitus, which i have to this day. indeed, i can hear my left ear buzzing away now.
something knocked me out' the trees
now i'm on my knees
... don't you know you're gonna shock the monkey

there is one thing you must be sure of
i can't take any more
... don't you know you're gonna shock the monkey

don't like it but i guess i'm learning

... shock the monkey to life
