Very heavy sleeper?

Postby Rwylie » Thu Jan 05, 2012 12:46 am

I go through these periods when I am a very, very light sleeper to nights when I can't be woken up by anything--not even the urge to pee, which sometimes results in me wetting the bed (I have since I was a child).

Anyway, some nights even a light rain can wake me, and on others my alarm clock doesn't phase me and I am late for school/work/life.

Is anybody else like this? I know my doctor told me that Aspies generally are heavy sleepers, but to what extent?
People don't understand what I'm talking about because I talk about things people don't understand.

Very light sleeper; probably why I dont get enough sleep for work. Strange thing is that between 5~7 am is when I get the best sleep thus it is more difficult to be awaken. Because of this I have 4 alarms each snoozing every 10 minutes from 5:30am to 7:20am since I am supposed be to work 8 sharp. This arrangement just barely works and I still manage to be late practically everyday...

Very light sleeper without my meds.
There's only two things I hate in this world. People who are intolerant of other people's cultures and the Dutch.

Depends. But generally I´d say I´m a heavy sleeper -- once I´ve managed to fall asleep..
