Can you all obsess about your own stories?
How many of you also like talking about your own stories?

Last night I suppose I talked everyone's ear off on my stories (and Film stuff of course).

I might regret asking, but what sort of stories are "your" stories?

My stories are science fiction involving different worlds, a society trying to rule those worlds, and a whole lot of other things. It's a tri-author story too as my friends at school are involved as well

I love to read good books. Movies, less, because there's hardly any good ones. I think in highly imaginative ways, and always have. I use a great deal of absurd imagination in expressing my sense of humor, but don't have any running fantasy narratives that I maintain. I did when a child, but that is common to childhood. I am busy with life. I have teenagers and a wife. I have friends and very interesting hobbies. What goes on around me and happens to me is so subtle, unpredictable, and infinitely interconnected, that if your'e paying attention and have some skin in the game, life itself is very entertaining. It is also funny heartbreaking, stupefying, indomitable, humbling, terrifying, sublime, rapturous, blissful, ecstatic, infuriating and much, much, stranger than fiction. God is in charge, and He is wry, devious and fond of irony.

I like to write stories and I do enjoy talking about them...though some I am embarrassed to talk about.
People don't understand what I'm talking about because I talk about things people don't understand.

I find that if I'm thinking of my stories and someone asks me what I'm thinking, I get embarrassed when they ask me what in my stories I'm thinking about. This is with everything.
And in the end I never tell them.
