Asperger's and routine issues..?

Postby Leslieslsa » Sat Nov 05, 2011 12:53 am

Do any other aspies have routines that don't change for years? I am 23 years old and have been going to the park to sit on the swing for on average 2 hours a day, every day, for the past 8 years. Even at night. Sometimes I am afraid I will one day look to old to be doing this if I don't already, but it calms me with the rocking motion.. I tend to get horridly agitated if it is like eight degrees outside or raining and I cannot go. I am getting a slight bit better with it.

I think the only problem I run into is that the cops don't want me in there after dark. For the most part they know it's me and leave me alone, but once in a great while they try to throw me out and I throw a FIT.. Any advice?

I try to replace it as soon as possible when something cant be done. cant think of examples right now though.
