http://www.ehow.com/facts_7481289_shirt ... ldren.html
This caught my interest because I used to ALWAYS bite my shirt when I'd get on the hyperactive side.
In fact I did this not too long ago where I was getting mad or something and I bit my shirt will doing something
FASCINATING!!!!

Wow, had I not read your post I wouldn't have made the connection. All my collars on my shirts that my parents dressed me in when I was younger were always wrinkled because I would bite them.

Curious; When younger I found comfort chewing on my shirt sleeve or I would de-thread my shirt and chew on the string...

I figured at some point of younger age, everyone did that...
To put your life in danger from time to time... breeds a saneness in dealing with day-to-day trivialities.

Yeah.
Of course I did it whenever I was going to start running after my sisters because they peeved me.
I thought I stopped for a while.
Nope. Apparently not as recently proved.
I don't know why but it felt comfortable and didnt cause me to hurt my teeth or so when running.

I'd chew the corner of the collar, but especially like the ones with button down collars and I could get that button between my teeth...too funny, that memory is from so long ago and it use to drive my parent nuts!!
