Do you generally have high or low latent inhibition?

Postby Rwylie » Fri Sep 02, 2011 5:24 am

My doctor told me about this "disorder" that really I don't consider a disorder at all. She said my tests came back that I have low latent inhibition, and I'm not even quite sure WHAT it is...

I mean, how can someone else decide what is or isn't normal for a person to experience?

ANYWAY, is it common for people with Aspergers to have low latent inhibition? If you know anything about this "disorder" can you tell me a bit about it. My doctor described it poorly...

How would I know if what I am experiencing is any different than what other people experience? I asked my mom about it, and I have concluded that she has HIGH latent inhibition (lol).
People don't understand what I'm talking about because I talk about things people don't understand.

I had to look it up too. I found this: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=151833815112

Describes pretty much one of the main standard AS traits.
There's only two things I hate in this world. People who are intolerant of other people's cultures and the Dutch.

From what I have read it thus far, it is an interesting concept... I believe further investigation is in order.
To put your life in danger from time to time... breeds a saneness in dealing with day-to-day trivialities.

I would recommend a solo flight to all prospective suicides. It tends to make clear the issue of whether one enjoys being alive or not.
