Aspergers is less known amongst the greater public then Autism. Since Deep Autists aren't very likely to browse the net this forum would get maybe more HFA visitors if Autism was somewhere in the title since that is a well known term.
It's often used in derogative form, maybe people who are labeled as such find their way more easily here.
Your input is a decisive factor.

My vote is to stay the same. I prefer Aspergers though I understand that it may be more sensible to scrap the name.

well it can still be there. it's just to open up the place to more people who most likely are just like us but are called HFA. Or that AS just is HFA. Or the other way around. And they pass us by which is a loss. Every experience is one we learn from.

...aspergers & high functioning autism sounds most appropriate...
To put your life in danger from time to time... breeds a saneness in dealing with day-to-day trivialities.

I would recommend a solo flight to all prospective suicides. It tends to make clear the issue of whether one enjoys being alive or not.

'HFA and Asperger's'
I'm caving to the negative crowd that thinks Asperger's is not legitimate. I get the feeling anything Asperger's is a bad thing to alot of people.
Also, I think 'high functioning autism' sounds better and is easier to say.
"It ain't for everybody."
