Learning Resource - Software

Can I strongly advise the use of a Notetaker software like ms Onenote.

I use OneNote for almost all my computer activity, I can take screen clips of interesting stuff and it pastes the source and date I got it at the same time which means you have half your citation written for you to start with.
Then I can annotate the clip to note stuff I need to think about or further research, you can add notes to images, search for any text including text in images and copy tesxt from images to paste into sokmething else.
You can make tags to help link notes together, create html links, draew images, tables and to do lists and build your own structure to the tabs for notes and sections.

Its perfect for me as I can organise exaclty how I want and find what I need quickly.
I coulnd have managed my degree without it.

Hello, what do you think is the best book about theory of mind for adults?
I have a boyfriend with AS (undiagnosed but I am 100% convinced).
He is very smart and high functioning and therefore can compensate a great deal. He understands facial expressions and can easily 'pass' in social situations with other poeple, but spends a lot of time meddling in telling me the way I SHOULD feel about things, rather than accepting the way I do feel, which I am attributing to his lack of theory of mind. E.g. He says I should see things as 'they are' (meaning the way he sees them), rather than the way I understand them. He often treats me as if I am some mad hysterical alien. I have had absolutely no communication problems with anyone before in my life.
A book on how mindblindness operates on the highest level would be very much appreciated!

Yes, I too would love a book on this. Roughly the same situation (it seems this is mainly due to especially stressful events of late for us.) Mine's very high functioning, though comes off a bit quirky at times (he doesn't recognize awkward situations at all.) Very smart guy, good with recognizing micro expressions despite not great with facial expression, and suddenly blammo! I get told how I shouldn't use certain words like "only" or "just" because people who use those words are typically making excuses for things. We've made many compromises in the black and white thinking department over the years. :|

Don't know if I can give a lot of advice, but feel free to pm me.

i've always liked 'how to win friends and influence people' by dale carnegie. a deceptively simple book that says much about the human condition.
something knocked me out' the trees
now i'm on my knees
... don't you know you're gonna shock the monkey

there is one thing you must be sure of
i can't take any more
... don't you know you're gonna shock the monkey

don't like it but i guess i'm learning

... shock the monkey to life
