Asperger's Syndrome and Myers-Briggs Type Indicator

Postby Ashiaro » Tue Jun 14, 2005 11:04 pm

Hello. I was just wondering if there was any connection between Autism Spectrum and MBTI types (E/I, N/S, F/T, and J/P).

I have asperger's and I'm doing a survey of people who also have autism spectrum conditions and I was wondering if anyone would be interested in participating. If you do not know your MBTI type, here is a webside with a test: http://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/JTypes2.asp You could also try similarminds.com.

Thank you,
Ashiaro

I've never been a very good subject for these kinds of tests. They always come out however I think they will - not because I guess the results correctly everytime, but because I can see how the test works to make a determination, allowing me to pick the answers that yield the desired or expected results.

I don't remember the exact term that appeared on my military psychiatric evaluation, but it basically said that the results of my test showed that I had deliberately obscured the results. (Which interestingly enough was considered a passing grade.)
