If this is a joke, it's not funny.
If you want to learn about AS... well, since you seem able to use the internet, why don't you make a search instead of threadcrapping.

I'm terribly sorry. It really was not a joke. I seriously, can't remember what exactly it is. You see, I had this one friend that i talked to on-line, and he said he had a mental disorder that he was diagnosed with when he was pretty little. But I couldn't remember what it was, and i'm not sure how to get intouch with him now, but I wouldn't want to just ask him anyway. And when I heard of Asperger's Syndrome, I thought that sounded familiar. But I'm still not sure if it was the same thing. I'm really sorry if it sounded like a prank. I'm on this website a lot, and I thought someone here could give me a quick "definition" of the illness.

If one of the mods wants to delete my thread, then I don't mind at all. I didn't know there was a problem with leaving a lot of threads. I'm sorry that you thought this was just a joke, but I'm really not that kind of person.

Thank you,
Forgetful_friend

I really wish someone would answer my question. I'm not a jerk. I'm not trying to be annoying. I really want to know. I have 2 good reasons.

Can I just ask this question, does it involve obsessing over things a lot. (and I'm not talking about OCD)

Most people with AS are tired of explaining it. Anytime it is necessary for someone to understand us, we've got to go through the long and tiresome process of explaining exactly what AS is.

It takes significanly less effort to look it up yourself than for someone to try to explain it to you online, since there's absolutely no real-time feedback (for those of us who've learned to read those cues) to determine whether our explanation is being met with your understanding.

So please, just look it up. Do a little reading. You've got the interest in learning about it so take the initiative and learn.

Thanks. :) That makes sense. I can understand that. I have certain things about me that I get sick of explaining, especially when no one understands even after I explain.

I hope I"m not annoying you, but I do want to ask one question. It's just a yes or no question (and I'm not on here just because I'm curious), does Aspergers Syndrome have to do with obsessing over things? 'cuz if it doesn't, then I don't even have a reason to read about it. That's really all that I need to know. See, I had this friend, well you've probably already read that.

Thanks. :)

Thanks! :)

That's all I needed to know. I'll ressearch it some now, and see if it is what I was thinking it was. Thanks for responding!!

Sorry for bothering anyone here!! I'm gone now.
