in transactional analysis terms your behaving like a parant by treating me like a child and telling me what to do. and when i give you an adult to adult response which cuts across your initial parent to child transaction, you then start behaving like a child and crying into your beer because you feel personally attacked.

and i'll just add that most people can discern what's a fact and what's opinion or personal experience from the context in which it's presented. they don't need it dressed up all the time in lots of caveats. nor do they need chapter and verse on every little thing they see or hear. if they want to know more they can usually take the time to invistigate the matter and draw their own conclusions.

people lie to us all the time. are you going to tell them to stop too??? not that it'd do any good!!! and i'm not lying to you. i'm just not presenting what i say in a way that you personally approve of. but that's my prerogative.

I wish you guys would not use bold font-type, and I also wish you'd stop arguing pathetically with each other. You should both be aware by now that I don't tolerate arguments of any sort here. We don't need them in our already-stressed lives.
