Doing tings that only make sense to you

I get bored with taking the same routes and I will take a longer route just because I cannot face the usual journey.

I also hate walking down long, straight roads so always have to take the side streets/lanes etc which forces me to walk longer but it is the only way I can deal with the boredom.
It is weird because I hate my routine being changed and yet I get really bored to the point of doing illogical things like that.
