i'm going to draw a line under this now. it was a very painful experience that utterly destroyed my life. and i'm still living with the direct consequences of it to this day. i really don't feel like trying to justify myself any further. neither of you were there at the time. you can't possibly know what really went on. i was and i do.
something knocked me out' the trees
now i'm on my knees
... don't you know you're gonna shock the monkey
there is one thing you must be sure of
i can't take any more
... don't you know you're gonna shock the monkey
don't like it but i guess i'm learning
... shock the monkey to life

It's all good, I was just trying to visit the other side of it, I have no idea what you really went through, and I have no problem if you want to hang on. I just never understood the hanging on aspect of things so it's a good lesson for me.

Do I contradict myself?
Very well then I contradict myself,
(I am large, I contain multitudes.)
