Aspergers

Postby Laeomis » Wed Jun 22, 2016 5:45 pm

I have a feeling a lot of Aspergers isn't really a disease. I mean, a lot of people diagnosed with it, aren't really diseased.

I've heard it is marked by having more neuronal connections in the higher brain. Some of these people are geniuses they call savants. I think, maybe, these are just people who are smarter than others, and these types of people have always existed in mankind. More sensitive, and I think a lot of smarter people, just don't want to be bothered by others. Not a disease, it's just that most human nature is evil, and people with Asperger want to avoid them instinctively, probably because they have better brains.

I know this doesn't apply to everyone diagnosed with Asperger, as symptoms may vary, but I think it does with a lot of them.

Aspergers is not a disease. It's a genetic variation, a mutation. Genetic variations occur all the time, it's why everyone is different, and why we are different to chimps, cows and turtles. Some variations are helpful, some not so. Aspergers could be a benefit in some environments and a deficit in others. So no, not a disease.
