I don't feel like that now but I do understand your way of thinking because I am a 23 year old male with Aspergers. You simply just have to accept that other people are different. If you do not get along with them then so-be-it but there are bound to be people out there that have different views on life than you that you WILL get along with.

I feel bad alot of times because of how I lose my temper because at heart I am generally a very sweet and loving guy I think I lose my temper because my entire life I hardly fit in and on top of that nobody agrees with what comes out of my mouth I am not entirely alone I have a few friends with somewhat of the same problems although I feel my best friend has aspergers and or bipolar but she absolutely won't admit just claims she is depressed and or confused............................. :(

Composer in what ways can't you accept other people? I was curious because I only have a hard time when they dont share my viewpoints on life...........

...and how many people have you encountered that share your view-point(s) on life? Personally speaking, I have never found anybody that I can get along with for extended periods of time. I find it very hard to maintain long-term friendships for this reason... but I prefer to be alone anyway.

Well............ I haven't met many people that do share my viewpoints on life the only people that I can think of is my parents and my best friend as well as her family the weird thing is that I want to be alone and yet I do want social contact yet I basically just stick with her and her family.............. because me and family do not get along that well for some reason to me and I am not trying to be funny cause the problems we all have on this forum are life threatening in my opinion to our mental health I feel as if my problems are almost like ''mental obesity'' it prevents me from doing things for and with the people I care about I feel as if I have to work extra hard to get through the day almost like the way a overweight person does except my problem is mentally............ I am sorry about the rant I just dont have alot of other people to talk to except for whom I have mentioned above I want to thank everyone on the forum for being there for me..............

Hey,

AspieOriginal1, you are right in saying that we are limited in what we can do - Asperger's syndrome is actually listed as a disability here (Ireland). Why do you see it as a life-threatening illness however? - Do you mean suicide? I toyed with suicide about a year ago. I tried twice, failed, and am confident right now that I won't try it again despite how bad things may become.

Composer: It is best not to think of other people as stupid. You're not a mean person but thoughts like that will result in you exuding arrogance which is not a very nice trait to have.

When I said life threatening I didnt mean as far as suicide I was pointing more towards alot of stress and pain I was going from my point of view it is kind of hard for me to explain things so if you have any questions I will answer them...........
