WHY I LIKE LIFE.

Postby aspergerlover » Sat Apr 15, 2006 9:15 pm

hi everyone, i would just like to explain a bit about myself,
every since i was little i thought that everyone else was differant to me, but now i relise im differant,
alot of my teachers have noticed my differant ways so i have been placed on the special needs register.
theres is so much more but i get so bored writing about stuff that doesn't interest me.
i have read lots of books on autism and my favourite ones that inspired me the most are-
multi coloured mayhem-jackui jackson,
freeks geeks and aspergers sydrome-luke jackson(jackui's son)
anyone with autim, AS or adhd read these because they are the best books i have ever read.
i like to accept that im differant it doesn't bother me what other people think, it shouldn't bother anyone.
i would like to become an educational psychologist when im older, and i want to specialise in autism.
im 14 at the moment and im planning to write a book on autim/aspergers syndrome, does anybody think thats a good idea?

Hey,

I think you should try your best to finish your schooling first. After that you can always then begin working towards becoming a psychologist. The reasons why you should do this are as follows:

1) The education offered by schools has a wide-base. I do not believe it would be wise to have knowledge in just one subject area.

2) You are 14 and are growing. Thus, you might change your mind about Psychology within the next year, two years, three years, etc. Then again, you might not but it is not wise to throw all your efforts into a single area at this early stage in your life.
