Your mother sounds like my father. I don't suspect he has bipolar, but he has been fairly mad at times because he perceives that I don't 'need' him. While it's not true, I'm not very good at displaying any kinda need for anyone...and can't explain it to him easily either. But yeah...living with my father is not totally impossible but pretty darn close to it. He really wants me to live with him, but I doubt I would like it. I'm just too much into doing my own thing, and really have been my whole life...he never really fully came to terms about that.
