I would imagine that in general they have more confidence.

i was just thinking that a good looking aspie is more likely to be popular and maybe therefore have a good social experience and would be better at hiding their stranger characteristics.

I can speak from personal experiance that this is true, and I second what Vayne said.
I am an attractive teenage girl with AS, and there are many times I wonder if that's why I'm more social than any fellow Aspies. But then it seems so selfish to wonder that, because I know other girls who are pretty themselves who have it....but heavens, all I ever do with Amber and Christine is argue!
I think I'm too high functioning for my own good, and I hate that. Partly.

This is ludicrous.

It doesn't make the slightest bit of difference whether you've got AS, OCD, or really bad allergies. If you're generally on the high end of the attractive scale you're probably going to have a slightly easier go of things than if you're on the low end of the scale.

That's just the way the world works: people tend to prefer dealing with people who are aesthetically pleasing to look at.

It doesn't mean you've "got it made" if you're pretty or that you're doomed if you're ugly. It just means that in that one, specific category, you've got it easier or harder than most other people.

If you think being god-awful ugly is going to stop you from having a good life, go hang out at a Wal-Mart or shopping mall for a few hours. You're bound to see some hideous people who are with relatively attractive members of the opposite sex.

Appearance counts most only in the most superficial and temporary situations. If the person has to spend any time at all dealing with you what's inside is going to start shining brighter (good or bad) than what's on the outside.

I don't consider myself attractive only moderately good looking. You don't understand how painful it is to love a girl but not like her touching you. Thus causing her to leave you. It's painful and I still am trying to deal with it.

I am decently attractive, 110 lbs 5'3 blonde, green eyes, 22 college student, and being socially inept has prevented me from any social interaction. I cannot meet people, I cant talk to people, and if a guy I think is cute tries to talk to me I literally start shaking, my voice quivers, I sweat! They must think I'm crazy, and I think my reaction makes me ugly fast. I am also really smart, and guys don't like conversating with girls who talk about things they know nothing about and don't want to know.

I agree with the original poster's question whole-heartedly.

Also: having blonde hair or green eyes has nothing to do with being attractive or not.
