How is the Wechsler IQ test used to determine HFA and AS?

i suggest you google this and see what you can find. a cursory glance reveals most of the information out there relates to using this test to differentiate between the two conditions, rather than explaining the means whereby it works. candidly, i don't have any detailed knowledge of this subject.

That's why I didn't reply either, I'm sure google could get you a lot more information than we could. I thought that test was more for ADHD than for aspergers, but, if it's for AS I think it has something more to with discrepancies found between high and low scores throughout the test, but I'm not sure of details.

I actually did do a little google research-I didn't find too much. Howver, what I did find was a little helpful. I just thought maybe someone on here took the test and had insight on how they were diagnosed.
Thanks!

I actually did take that test, however, I was being tested for ADHD as well as aspergers so I thought that was for the ADHD part but I don't really remember for sure. Sorry!

Ah! Okay! Thanks for your help anyway. Were you diagnosed with AS?

Yes, I was diagnosed with both AS and AD/HD inattentive type.
