I quit a job I was at for 4 years about 2 years ago, and very few from that position ever try to keep in contact with me.
I was on a BBC board (pre internet proper) for around 5 years...
I didn't establish a friendship with any of them.
Apart from gains in some social/nt insights, a total waste of time in the relationship department...
