Hi, everyone, I am new here and have not been formally diagnosed with an anxiety disorder. I have been struggling with anxiety since I was a child, though. Recently, I have become super obsessive about things. Like if I measure something with a ruler, I have to check and double check that I have looked at the ruler right and have the right measurement. Does anyone else do stuff like this? I just feel like I am going crazy.

Sounds more like OCD or maybe OCPD depending on how you are in other aspects of your life.

i occasionally get obsessive, & i'm sure it has 2 do with need 2 control your environment.
my anxiety has been mostly social, but now i stopped working also.
when i'm really lonely & bored the obsessive stuff seems 2 show up more.
it helps me to get engrossed in a project around the house;
or in a favorite hobby(painting,cooking); in an online course, or a community project.
just try something new & persist...you're worth it:)
