Who has gone through cognitive therapy, and what did you learn that benefited you?
So I'm having bad anxiety, which I usually have. There is nothing to make me anxious really. I think about things in the past and things that never happened and even without that I feel tense. I could go lay down for a few minutes again, but I'm getting annoyed at the distraction and just thought I'd type it out.
I'm also trying the breathing technique and reaiming focus.
Nothing appropriate comes to mind.

I do it and have done it since I was 16 and i'm 29 now and still use it when anxious it's extremely helpful, the thing with CBT is that you have to keep using it for it to work, if you feel that it's not helping right away don't give up on it... it is amazing.
