It sounds like you just lost motivation and - perhaps - you had been taking too much on in your life without ever taking a break. I did the same and duly crashed 'n burned a few years ago. We really need to realise the things that are simply not good in our lives.

Some of us are more prone to stress and anxiety, you see. I am; and perhaps you are too. You said that you don't want to waste any more of your life, so, don't. Posting here is a good stat but you must also think of thigs in your life now that you don't need and then get rid of them. Then, begin thinking of things you truly want; that you may never have previously pursuedl; and go out and get them.

Also, you didn't really mention what your current employment situation is now so, I'm assuming that you still run that business?

That is very unfortunate but, what now? Do you have a plan to do anyting? If you can, taking a number of weeks off before making your next move advisable. Surely there must be something you've always wanted to do but have never done it. The time to do that things is now.

You can beat this if you if you are willing to work on yourself. Have you ever looked into CBT? It will build your self esteem and teach you how to think more objectively about yourself which will in turn build your confidence. I learned CBT in a group for Anxiety and panic disorder and it not only eliminated my panic attacks it built my confidence and changed my life when I thought I was doomed to a life of misery. There is a great CBT based book by Sam Obitz that teaches you an exercise called the TEA form that I think would really help you if you are willing to put the time into working on yourself. I still use the TEA exercise whenever I am under stress to keep my mind clear and free from energy zapping anxiety and useless worry. Give CBT a try it can change your life.

brownie, please try not to bump posts that are this old, the chances of the original poster seeing this is slim to none.
Also being that it says guest, that user is no longer on the forums.
