I make sure all my candles are out everyday. I make sure the stove and oven are off. I am afraid to cook.I imagine my siblings will do cook something and burn the house down. I am saving all my data on my computer and sending them into my email cause I think soon i am gonna part with my computer cause there will be a fire. PLEASE HELP I AM ON THE BRINK OF RUNNING IN FRONT OF A CAR I, AM SO SCARED!!!

You need to relax, everything you posted is very unlikely to happen, i would suggest that you go and buy some vitamin B-50. You really need to stop worrying. the odds of something catching on fire in your house is very low, now that you keep checking things and making sure nothing does catch on fire the odds are close to 0%, I have a higher risk of things catching on fire in my house compare to yours and i feel completly safe in my house. Stop worrying, i take it you have GAD and/or OCD, try to get as much help as possible.. I used to be like you exept i feared of things much much worse, from all that worry and fear i am now in a Depersonalization state of mind, you don't want your anxiety to push that far.

Take care bud

I had that same problem Bundy. Well not quite, when i was a young lad i saw some television program where a man fell asleep with the TV on. For some reason or another it sparked from the outlet and the house caught on fire. Ever since i've made sure all appliances or gadgets are off before going to bed. I am infact unable to sleep unless i do this and it also bring's me peace of mind.

What you have is actully somewhat normal for extreme form's of anxiety. Some people fear ailment to the point it becomes psychosematic. IE: They fear a hart attack to the point that they feel pain in their chest (this actully turn's out to be stress and anxiety related). Or it could be thing's like fire or anything.

The paranoia with the fire and ect is irrational. I know it makes sense to you know but in time you'll see everything is ok and there is no reason for fear. You need to see a psychiatrist if you havent one and explain all of this to him. Medication can help.

The fire and ect would be a possibility, unlikely but possible. Running infront of a two-ton moving vehical is a sure thing. Sure to cause you massive amounts of pain yet not garenteed death. Your best course of action is to see your psychiatrist, if you dont have one get one and explain all of this to him/her.
