To be honest, crystal, I would not even want to mirror you.
I'm going to show you how good it feels to be bad

I think what you mean is, you wouldn't be able to. and for this reason, you wouldn't feel in control of the interaction.

and it's annoying as fack.

So far, two people have indicated that it doesn't annoy them at all. I guess we'll wait and see how many do get annoyed, but I would imagine that the more extreme the behaviour of the one being mirrored the more obvious it would be and the more annoying it would become.
I'm not arguing; I'm explaining why I'm right.

Oh no, I would certainly be capable of doing it. You're just not that interesting.

any mirroring is annoying. it's inauthentic. it's the act itself that is annoying. what it suggests. not the behaviour being mirrored back at me.

demon if you wanted something from me you would have a hard time getting it that's what I'm saying.

as a technique, it's elementary. as a natural tendency of all in social interaction, it's bloody annoying.

if I wanted to talk to myself, I would go talk to myself into the mirror.

I talk to others for what THEY have to offer. if all they have to offer is myself...well

I can get that any time.

You do realise what you're doing, right?

You do realise that you're prodding Demon in a similar way to that which you were complaining about on the forum yesterday?

You do realise that this behaviour has always, and will continue to, cause an argument between Demon and whoever is prodding her?

You do realise that by doing this you are derailing your own thread?

look, the reason people mirror us is because they assume we like people who are like us. so they act like us to gain our favour.

however, I like variety............

I know what you're saying and I'm telling you that I could manipulate you easily. Your insecurities are blatantly obvious. You're more naive than you realize. You're a like a child throwing a tantrum sometimes. You make yourself emotionally vulnerable all too often.

I am emotionally expressive but I actually feel very little demon.

You are very insecure, crystal. If you weren't, you wouldn't get as jealous as much as you do of other people, if at all, and you certainly wouldn't throw a tantrum every time someone refuses to give you attention. Being so afraid of becoming invisible to the world is what makes you so vulnerable. You're like a walking target just waiting to be hit, honestly.
