Lotto (or anybody else), if you're around later, I'll be on the ADHD forum in about 8 hrs. My insomnia's making me crazy. I can spare about $30 for herbal remedies, and I could use some suggestions please&thank you.

Thanks to everybody for the naughty gifs and the naughty talk, but that didn't even help :?

Insomnia SUCKS

It's *normal* for me. I sleep 7 hours out of every 25-27 instead of 24, with one full night's sleep disappearing about every 2 weeks. So if I try to go to bed at eleven every night, that only works for a day or 2. Then it's one am. Then 3am. Then 5am before I can sleep. The pattern usually synchs up with *normal* folk after I push myself to not sleep from noon-7pm, and go to bed around 6pm instead. Then 8. Then my sleep is almost normal for a few days.

Noise screws that up. If something wakes me after 3 hours, I'm up for 3 more before I can sleep again.

As the paths tell us, the only thing that makes my sleep patterns *abnormal* is that pesky thing called society and their standard hours of operation. What sux is that I'll be ready to sleep when my son leaves for school, but I can't wake up and start my day at 3pm again, bc all the good birthday stuff for tweens happens between 4 and 8. :(

Delayed Sleep Phase Disorder?

If you haven't tried it already, get a prescription for 2-4 mg melatonin capsules, or take the equivalent in the over the counter stuff. Start on 2mg a night and take it for a week at the same time, see if it works, if it doesn't go up to 4mg and see how that goes. Take it for about a month at a time.

It's ok. No one expects you to get the drift. It's enough that you find the quote button.
