it might be kind of funny but this wouldn't make it acceptable. a woman breastfeeding in public doesn't bother me at all, as she has a reason for doing it. the baby needs to eat. this is totally ######6 obvious.

Doesn't mean that she should let the baby feed in front of everyone. I think it looks nasty, a baby sucking on a boob, a boob I didn't want to see in the first place. :­P

(But yea, if the mother is polite enough to cover it with a blanket I don't have any problem with it. Not that it bugs me a lot, just not anything I want to see. :­P )

yeah well i don't want to see anybody driving a SUV but it's still allowed.

I don't get the anti-breastfeeding in public thing at all. People like breasts. People like babies. But they don't like to see them at the same time?
Is it because there's some inner conflict about breasts being both sexualised objects and a maternal source of food?
