Yeah xena... social services are reasonably crappy when it comes to feeding or clothing. imo... if you want to eat regularily.

I was brain dead at one point, I mean really just down on my luck and the food bank just shamed me away from getting any more food. They claimed it was for mothers. They catch all the breaks, imo... Pearls before Swine

My biggest concern is that scary overlap between the crap US healthcare system and their lax gun laws. I guess getting my head blown off is better than hanging around here getting older and angrier and less and less able to do anything about it.

Maybe those wonderful southerners will write my words on the face of today, give me my 15 minutes of fame by hanging my bullet sprayed corpse from a tree. Or maybe they'll decide they like me and they'll take me in as one of their own.

Anything's better than taking this conditional charity from the idiots who run our social programs. They're fuking vicious to anybody who says they don't do drugs. I'm sick of it. One way or another, some sh!t has to change for me. One way or another, it will.

Go into the dropin centre at 519 Church Street. There's less violence with programs geared for gay people. Tell them you're closeted bc you're confused about your gender. Theyll fix you up with some nice programs where all the trannies go. Trannies are usually really nice people. There's less drug abuse, and more family crisis as the main cause of that group's problems with poverty&homelessness. Just be nice. Just bc they don't go around kicking people's asses, doesn't mean they're incapable of it.

Right. That's the Osgoode lawyers soup kitchen, at UofT. They were still running that one last summer, on Thursdays, and Sundays for breakfast.

Another decent place for breakfast was on Dundas East. I think the address was 416. They're open every weekday, but you have to get there early. Everything's cold by about 8:40am.

The places I saw in Savannah were not too bad, although a decade can surely change a place and I didn't see every nook and cranny. If you don't want to get shot stay away from Atlanta. North of Atlanta isn't too bad, but inside and all the south cities...just stay away from those parts (on foot). Getting your head blown off ain't too bad, I'd be worried about getting my brains bashed in just enough to have me sitting in a hospital with brain damage (not forgetting that will cost you an extraordinary amount).
