I woke up this morning and cried for an hour 'cause I thought my boyfriend left me. Out of desperation, I left him a voicemail and texts saying I love him. Turns out he didn't actually dump me. We're now mutually in love, apparently.

This is what Valentine's Day is all about ladies, gentlemen, queers and otherkin. Love. It can be as fake as the sugar in that stupid little candy you're suckling right now. It can be as real as the Holocaust. But let's pretend it's what Valentine's Day is about.

Don't be sad if you're single on Valentine's Day! One, it's just stupid to be sad about that. Two, love is in the air, bitch. Breathe it.

- Celebrate with your family (spouse included)
- YOURSELF
- Your dearest friend(s)
- Your pet(s)
- Visit the grave of someone you miss

Or even dedicate today to the THINGS you love!

Is it that time of year again? We discussed Douglass last year. He was such an inspiration.

I think I've only been with somebody twice on V-Day. It's never bothered me, tho. I usually bake or make crafts with the kids. I sent my son to school with storebought cupcakes this morning, but we'll be baking in a few days for his school bake sale.
