Yea, very similar to the ghost girl video. It surprises me why they got so much more scared of the coffin. Because that one looks much more like an obvious prank than the one with the ghost. :P

If one of the prankees killed the ghost girl I wonder if they would be convicted of manslaughter or murder, and whether the prankers would face any charges.

Now that'd be funny.

And by funny, I mean odd or curious.

That's one reason why I think this may well be set up.

My first reaction was "I'd punch it in the face."

Would they risk that?
I'm not arguing; I'm explaining why I'm right.

Makes me think of Freaky the snowman; there's countless videos of him scaring people, but here's one where it goes wrong. :P

Off topic- I wish I had a computer virus that I could share with all the spammers I get in my email. A person could make a lot of money if they created a program just for that.

Highly doubtful... A botnet the size of Kansas would require that it penetrate upwards of the hundreds of thousands before any real damage could be done.

Unless you get into credit card fraud. Which for the most part is petty compared to the adclick fraud networks which are more lucrative.

(I don't do that, but what are you going to buy with credit cards, anyways? They have limits, ect... I do remember a lady buying a car off ebay or something once through paypal and getting screwed, but that's social engineering, moreso than technology, imo)

The only people making money off virus' are the virus scanner vendors.

@Bravegirl - Please don't scare me with talk of virus and such... it makes no sense... the only virus I ever got that was damaging was from "al queda" wannabe's who were hell bent on bringing down the entire net for no good reason at all... not even profit...

I'm not saying the admission is accurate, and it's not the article on click fraud, but forbes usually has articles on virus.

http://www.forbes.com/sites/billsinger/ ... ware-case/

Schichtel admitted to having infected 72,000 computers in consideration of a $1,500 payment from one customer.

That's 2 cents per infection. So... if it accurate that's proof towards click fraud potentially being more lucrative. So... there is probably the virus which get access, and the smarter ones who put it to use.

People probably remember the MacOSX virus which spread almost overnight, right?

http://www.forbes.com/sites/andygreenbe ... lickfraud/

Russian antivirus firm Kaspersky confirmed findings from another security firm earlier this week that more than 600,000 computers running Mac’s OSX are infected with the Flashback botnet, and half of those machines are in the United States.

I might think they're making more than 2 cents per infection.

I remember a bank being broken into or the ATMs and that was profitable.

For the most part, it's the click fraud that is more prominent. To my limited understanding.

http://www.forbes.com/sites/investor/20 ... -google/2/

A quick Google search reveals that at Christmas the FBI busted a single outfit that was generating $14 million from click fraud. In this case they were Estonians and Russians. Then there was the case of Android apps infected with click fraud bots in China, it doesn’t take long to realize that criminals from around the world have been draw to this ocean of money like flies to honey.

To be fair, here is an article on credit card fraud...

http://www.forbes.com/sites/mickeymeece ... ard-fraud/

Another 13 individuals were arrested Tuesday in seven foreign countries.

Preet Bharara, the United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, and Janice K. Fedarcyk, the Assistant Director-in-Charge of the New York Field Office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, said the undercover operation protected “over 400,000 potential cybercrime victims and prevented over $205 million in losses.”

What are the chances of credit card companies tracing transactions. Probably significantly better than click fraud, I just do not know.

Didnt mean to trigger anything Mr.O.
I just get tired of being told I have won millions or that nuns need me to transfer funds for them. AND apparently, my penis is too small and I am qualified for a fantastic deal on meds to help.
Annoying.

Oh I get it, didn't mean to be annoying. I added my email to a single foreign language blog a few months ago, now my entire inbox is basically advertisements for products in a country I will probably never visit.

Lol, I have yet to find you annoying Mr.O. I quite like you.
Maybe all I need is a big stick. I could reply to an add, offer to meet up and beat the scammin right out of them.
Now THERE would be a super hero!

As I watched it I thought about kicking the zombie's ass in case he touched me (like he did with one of the girls) and then claim I was doing it in self defense so he wouldn't eat my brain. :D
