Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't a lack of feeling and empathy what characterizes ASPD?

Lack of empathy, yes. Some AsPDs seem to be able to feel varying degrees of other emotions. AsPD is a set of behaviors. Perhaps you're thinking of Psychopathy.CoolBlu wrote:I don't see how you can care about your children if you don't have a conscience. That's illogical.
Since when does a conscience have anything to do about caring about something? Define care anyway?
I care about my vehicle... I don't want it getting ruined. I care about keeping my house clean. I care about my health. I care about my kids.
I may not care about these things in the way normal people do. When I use the word care, I use it how I understand it... it's relative. I may not feel or know care, the way you or other normal people know the word care. My care is not motivated by love.

IronicSo your kid is double the dose, since he'd contain your level of obnoxiousness etc... On top of that of normal children.

Noooo, say it ain't true!

Oh, I don't doubt that at all, if your definition of 'best' for everyone is anything like my definition of what's best for everyone.
