In fact all this horsemeat brouhaha made me crave for Aldi horse lasagna ever since it broke out. I seldom buy ready-made stuff but i swayed a few times already. Horse is good!
But it shouldn't be sold as "beef" indeed.
Indeed, but I get what you're saying about the lasagne. We had one a week or so ago that had been in the freezer a while and the conversation went something like this:
Jomp: Hey, do you reckon this lasagne..
Crackers: Stop.
I'm not arguing; I'm explaining why I'm right.

The young have aspirations that never come to pass, the old have reminiscences of what never happened.

Try horse steak in a mustard marinade. Second best thing after venison.
(Wait, not sure if they sell it in the UK... ask for beef sirloin, you might get horse if you're lucky.
BTW UK & Ireland are the only countries in Europe who balk at horsemeat. Regardless, both were/are consuming copious amounts of it, as it transpires...

I like horse meat, as do most of the UK population apparently - seeing as they didn't even realise it was happening until some guy in a white coat tested a crispy pancake.
I agree that they should probably have advertised it correctly but it makes me laugh that all these fat f*ckers who have been ramming MacDonald's burgers into their engorged faces for years with no interest in the actual contents of them are now suddenly outraged that they're not eating 100% cow beef.
I'm not arguing; I'm explaining why I'm right.
