The smart ones (I'm assuming your referencing your "ASPD" psych) who are so smart, they reveal their whole scheme to their patients? Must truly be genius.

In regards to the PCL-R and other such tests that are relative to this thread, white collar criminals who are the "Successful" ones don't even qualify for the disorder.

Not all serial killers caught. I agree with you on this point, the ones who do are the bad examples, but as i said, not all get caught.

That's no necessarily true, Sunlight. While the effects of a severe PD might interfere with the process of becoming a psychologist, just having the PD isn't grounds for disqualification. If a person with ASPD went through all the steps, courses, and research, they're probably smart enough to appear normal enough to pass assessments. If they were self-diagnosed and not "on the record" so to speak, it wouldn't be an issue at all, assuming they can keep up.

Re-read my latest post, anyone who would cover their ass that much would never tell their patients. Paranoia doesn't just "go away" when convenient. It's possible to become one with un-diagnosed ASPD (as you said though, assuming they have no record of any "red flags"), but the instant they told anyone they open themselves too all kinds of blackmail. And, considering our new friend is claiming to have been diagnosed as a psychopath BY him.... that action defies all logic. "Let's go tell someone who is pathologically inclined to ###$ people over my deepest secret that could cost me my job. OKAY!". <-- lack of any logic.

Haha good point. Ok, so maybe he's a self-diagnosed idiot who managed to get a license.

More than likely. Either he's a complete moron, or "God" is telling a lie. Both are possible.
Or, it could be the more than likely answer of, he's(the doctor) feigning mental illness in order to establish rapport with someone he knows wouldn't open up otherwise (our friend God). That's one of the most common ways of getting someone with ASPD to open up. In which case, "God" would be the sucker.

What if the shrink is a childhood friend and I helped him pass the test? As a licensed shrink he now has access to PCL-R and was trained to conduct it. It really doesn't matter though, now that I took it, I know how to get 0-5 if the situation calls for it.

You guys should know that I am no one's sucker.

Ooo look, he's delusional too!

Why the hell would you go to such a length? The only instance in which you may be forced to take it would be if you get caught for something and if you were smart enough to pull that off (which I doubt) you could have spent your time focusing on something far more interesting and a hell of a lot more fun. It sounds like a complete waste of time to me.

A detail of him being a childhood friend would have entered your initial post if it was true, as that literally, changes everything. You also spoke of him very distantly in your first post (Again, if he was a childhood friend, it would have been much more personal, rather than just "My psychologist" a name would have been present, or "my friend the psychologist". Previous words defeat your current ones) On top of the fact that it's extremely frowned upon for psychologists to work on anyone with a personal relationship, as personal relationships can lead to emotion based error, and in a lot of places, they won't allow it, and they can actually lose their license to practice psychiatry/psychology. Your story is falling apart.

Nice try.

Wow, way to paint yourself into a corner there, God. Go on! Tell us next about how through some superior manipulation and theatrics, your "psychologist" threw sand in the eyes of everyone and took you under his wing despite the strong and often enforced laws regarding "conflict of interest".

'tis better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open one's mouth and remove all doubt.
