I have a friend who is a prison guard at our local max security prison.
He's also a concrete guy since his dad owns a concrete company and he grew up forming and pouring concrete.
He put in concrete floors and concrete countertops in his kitchen and his bathrooms. He stamped and stained them, and polished them to a gloss, and they look amazing. Really amazing.
I'm just not sure I'd want to walk on concrete all the time - really hard on the feet and legs - and it gets very cold in winter.
But wow, aesthetically, his place looks like a million dollars.

Ain't it the way?
Dream after dream after dream.
First, it's love. Now, it's concrete.
When will it end?

lol.
I won't give up on it just yet tho' . It is the ideal substitute for romantic Love. Resilient, enduring ( can handle a few smashed plates) and when polished, aesthetically beautiful!

I've always fancied concrete floors. But not for my ideal warm-hearted wooden little house.
They are better suited for a loft.
