You start getting stricter on the rules here and you're really going to have a problem on your hands. For the most part we haven't had too many problems here. You get your nuts kicked a few times by a member or two and suddenly everything's a big fuking issue with you now.

xdude only seems interested in antagonizing people into banning them so he can make a point no one can even begin to care about. it is delightful to think this place is driving him to these "extremes" and has influenced him so much, when he isn't even paid to moderate it in the first place lol. definitely a welcome change, despite what he may belief =)

I didn’t want to mention it publicly but the manner in which monk was banned and then it was given a whole thread seemed particularly distasteful.

That they were banned may not be an issue in of itself (though the reason being inciting others to legal action seems precarious) but the hand waving demonstration of making an example seems to be no more than a power trip to reassert himself as superior. It’s crass and not the proper way to deal with these things.

I’ve received warnings for talking about bans publicly. Again, an example of hypocrisy and self-serving rule selection. Dude’s conduct certainly has not demonstrated how things like this ought to be handled. The slimy push for his agenda in removing the sub forum immediately afterwards is just contemptible, essentially trying to hold everybody hostage to his ego.

I thought it was odd to publicly state a ban but then I supposed it was to get a point across that firstly behaviour wasn't tolerated and that they were listening to complaints about that particular user.

I for one salute Reaper as our new overlord.

As a first option, I would prefer someone that doesn't post here - somebody stable and balanced - 'cause I hope he would be an impartial observer.

Between users, yes I like Sarandipity, but I am not totally sure if she/he/they (:lol:) can handle this forum and its dynamics. Vcrpamphlet, solemnlysworn could be good too.
