But I'm currently watching Tv with my son. We have a tradition with this one particular program.
I'm enjoying the obsevations he is making.
I've got everything I need.
Sweet.
@zero I recently took up reading as well during my break in posting. It's altered my life in ways I would have never imagined.

Well ie never really read before so I started off with Brothers Grimm short stories an I thought it was quite fun and then I just went straight from that to reading about philosophy.
Thought that was quite good. Then I thought I'd challenge myself and read Stephen hawking brief history of time. I understood about 20% of it but I loved that 20% and then I read human universe by Brian Cox.
Ive also read the first two game of thrown books and am half was through part 1 of the third one.
I've discovered something in me that I didn't know was even there. There's more I've read during this time but I can't remember the names of them now but some of the imagery in the writing is absolutely fantastic.
Even the physicsy ones blow my mind and I don't understand the vast majority of it.

It's quite nice to see you excited about something that makes the daily bustle irrelevant for a moment

Screw what I said before, I hate normal life.
All the goals I used to have were always very unrealistic, I'm not even going into detail because it's that embarrassing. Basically as soon as it'd sunk in how unrealistic they were I've had no idea what I really want to be or do, or who I am and what I'm good at for that matter. I've spent half of my life in psychiatric settings so this isn't surprising. I don't have a frame of reference for what are realistic goals for me and what aren't and nobody around to give me a reality check - f.e. I could ask my psychologist if it would be realistic for me to think I could become president and her answer would probably be something like "maybe, if you studied politics", if she didn't avoid the question.
I also think when most people talk about their entire life they have a certain span of time in mind like from now until they're 60-100. I don't. Sometimes I don't feel like I'm ever going to die and other times I'm surprised I'm even still alive and definitely won't make it past 30, maybe not even 25. So I very rarely see the point in planning something long-term.
And of course I suck at everything that doesn't reward fast or punishes too much before it does. I'll know something is or would be good to have done eventually but I don't feel it so I don't end up doing or finishing it. The only reason I'm still in school is probably because I don't have to study much for the exams to pass them and I'm still on the verge of getting kicked out for not showing up and being a bitch when I do. It doesn't feel like I planned this either, I'm just doing it.
I'm hoping this isn't permanent and it will change with real life experience but for now I've got nothing concrete in mind.

I want to go on a road trip around Australia with at least one person, possibly more if they're cool to hang out with. Why? Because a roadtrip is really boring when you're on your own, and the driving is tedious in desolate areas where the road just seems to go on forever in a straight line. The only thing to look at in those areas are saltbush and dead kangaroos.
I saw a lot of dead kangaroos on the side of the road when I moved interstate. I did see some live ones a couple of times. A small group were near the edge of the road once. Luckily they took off away from the road as the car got closer. I also saw some emus once, which was a nice change. One just walked casually across the road in front of an oncoming car (the car ahead). We had to slow down and wait for it to cross.
I'd hate to break down at night time in some of those areas in the outback. There's just nothing out there. You can't even get a signal on anything in some areas.

What's stopping you from doing that right now?
I'm not arguing; I'm explaining why I'm right.

Money, lack of a car to do that in, and lack of people to travel with.
