If I saw your post, I don't recall. Anyway, it seems we all agree at least.
Apocalypse Now, Clockwork Orange, the end of There Will Be Blood, Killing Eve all use classical, beautiful or other 'non bloodthirsty' music during murder scenes to create some kind of dissociation for the viewer in my opinion. (Or perhaps it is for other reasons and there is a phrase for what I am trying to explain but cannot quite hit on it)
Either way it is a very effective ploy, and often (for me ) it serves to add a touch of humour.
Imagine silence during a scene where someone's throat is being cut. Sweaty, grunting laboured breathing during the struggle and the sound of sinew and tendon being severed like that of a blade ripping through carpet. Yuck! wouldn't have many viewers.
Bloodthirsty music wouldn't work either. Would make the scene very forgettable and over the top.
I often try to imagine various scenes that have an impact on me, and are accompanied by great music, happening without the music.
