In terms of care for them.

If so, why do you think that is?

I put on an act for a lot of people. The act I put on is one that allows me to use people to my advantage and/or to simply blend in when necessary, and it applies to everyone I know and meet in real life, regardless of my relationship to them.

The only people I'm different around (though not completely) are the people I associate with online, in this forum and on discord, because I don't have to put on an act for them. There's no care involved in that though, not of other people anyway.

The only person I truly care about is my daughter, but as I've said before, it's conditional and somewhat shallow since I probably wouldn't care that much if she died. She knows I put on an act for her because she's told me as much. She knows because she's seen the real me at times, so she is probably the only person I am completely different around, in that she's seen both sides of me up close and personal. Actually, so have some of my other family members, but not as much as my daughter has.

I'm very different in work, but I think that's probably true of anyone. From simple things like long-sleeve shirts to cover a tattoo to being more agreeable over certain things.I tend to work in short bursts in many places, so it's easier to maintain.

When I used to work in an office full time it would eventually become a problem, as it's hard to maintain an act consistently over time.

I'm more me with my wife and kids, although only my wife really sees "me."

Generally, as people get to know me they'll see a persona with inconsistencies, which makes them think I'm a bit odd sometimes. A few times over the years people have said things like, "Your halo's slipping" when careless traits show themselves.

A few close friends know more than I intentionally let on. One will do a stupid robot voice, "Does not compute" when we're talking about someone who's going through a hard time and I make some callous remark without thinking. Subtle stuff really.
I'm not arguing; I'm explaining why I'm right.

Separating these out as they are quite different.

Are there people you are completely different around?

You'd have to ask them
In terms of care for them.

Define the meaning of "care"
If so, why do you think that is?

Some people are worth the effort, and others are not.

You're not aware of how you behave around people?

Some people are worth the effort, and others are not.

That's true of anyone.

My behavior, is not the same as their perception.

Right, but the question was "are you different around them?" - it's about your behaviour, not their perception.

When you get offended by what people say here and someone points that out to you, I'd say they're one and the same.

Understood the question. Not that I am consciously aware of. However, I am also flexible on the fly with different individuals based on what I have gleaned in the way of information on them. So, there is that that is running along side.

And of course, there are those times, when I let fly with all cannons, as others are behaving like demented chimps. If they choose to behave like pieces of sh!t, they will be treated as such. Then the screaming and yowling starts.
When you get offended by what people say here and someone points that out to you, I'd say they're one and the same.

Seems you are still projecting and pissed that I don't validate your imaginary dick.
