Interesting. Why do you still pee your pants? I'm genuinely curious.

reaps since the topic is relevant; how do you cope with your ugly features?

and narchmed makes another thread about being physically attractive. Typical narc, might be able to lower the volume but cant change the track.

ironic that hes pretty mediocre lookin if you factor out his ethnic deficiencies.

of guys solemlysworn is the most attractive. Midwinter and Quoth aren’t bad. Creamfreak looks charming and going by his eyes vcrpaflets got some game too.

narchmed wouldnt beat solowolfpack and clever. least they look like men.

infinitesimal is the worst but narchmed would be fighting it out in the little league with caspin

Other than a couple of body parts you’ve no idea what I look like.

I don’t care if you two chimps want to hurl sh*t at each other in another pissing contest but I’ve no interest in either of you and no desire to be involved.

Taking the original post at face value:

I think the biggest thing I've learned, which has had a change in me, other the past decade or so is the acceptance that I'm probably unaware of how much I've negatively affected people in the past.

I've been fairly outwardly focused when it comes to how I've viewed the various failures I've experienced, because they seem unjust. I know now that they seem unjust because I don't remember most of the stuff I've done to damage others, mainly because I was unaware of the depth of experience the other person was having by my behaviour. In a similar way to how I can't specifically remember taking a piss last Tuesday, although I know that I must have.

The result is that I don't feel so frustrated by it; I can understand why there's a list of people who would be quite happy to dance on my grave, and recognising that this is objectively reasonable makes more sense to me.

Following the conversation with VCR yesterday, I looked back at some of my older posts and I can see a shift away from "This makes me better than you" to the acceptance that "I've probably got a warped view of that, and it makes me a bit of a f*ckwit."

It still doesn't feel real, but I can see how it should.
I'm not arguing; I'm explaining why I'm right.

From all the personal accounts I've seen of psychopaths; not understand how their behavior affects others seems to be a common problem for them when they were quite young. Why did it take so long for you to realize this? As far as I know, this is an issue with developing your cognitive empathy. Those on the Autism spectrum have a pervasive issue with not understanding the behavior of others. Not that you are an autist; you don't come across as one at all.

i think the answer is in your OP
slower neurogenesis, more stable psyche, guess which direction your perception takes?? outwards

idk tho may be its more obvious to me because i do relate to it, always interacted with people in a more mechanical way(not só consciously)
i think the difference is how much conscious you get of the process
''our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate
our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure''
