There is evidence to suggest a vegan diet causes low testosterone which leads to violence and sociopathic behaviour. Curious to see if anyone here is vegan.

not currently, by occasionally and once for a longer period of time. although, my testosterone levels are always low. however, i did experience a near-psychotic state when vegan for a longer period. was coming off of a depressive episode, and involved stress from school. i was also in the process of training for a long race. this whole episode ended with some type of long dissociation issues that resulted in dropping from school. i also replaced my vegan diet for microwaved pancake wrapped sausage sticks, cigarettes, and alcohol.
anyway, i became concerned for my sanity during veganism and went to the doctor to get my blood checked. they said it was all normal...i was mostly concerned about the B vitamins. my grandfather had trouble with those even on a normal diet. one of those people who needed it injected i think. but apparently, it was fine. i have to assume the diet wasn't to blame for my minor psychosis. probably stress induced. i am prone to dissociative episodes. but it's still a question at the back of my mind if it helped.

I'm a clean eater who indulges butter and sugary sweets.
I'd never go vegan.

its low estrogen not testosterone by itself that causes sociopathic behavior, it was shown in rats IIRC
on high test / low estro i can't give a ###$ to anything if i want, perfect combo for murdering someone lol

I'm omnivorous, just as humans are designed to be because that provides a more balanced diet.
I don't know what explains my aggression and sociopathic behavior, but it sure as shlt ain't being vegan.

I can attest to this! Back when I used to compete and I was taking huge amounts of steroids(testosterone, nandrolone, dbol you name it) and also arimidex to keep estrogen levels down so I didn’t grow tits. I had a few close calls almost completely losing control.

I mistyped, it's low cholesterol not low testosterone.
To the first poster I would say veganism can cause mental problems. It's a very malnoutishing diet which can lead to depression which, in worst case scenarios can lead to psychosis.
I personally would never go vegan. All this BS rhetoric about saving animals is nonsense. I have slaughtered animals myself and though the process can seem gruelling to some it's a part of life. The vegan diet a retarded diet for people who have been tricked into malnourishment. I'd rather eat my meat and hit the gym.

Cholesterol is used in testosterone production so it’s not that far off

Heard a cool argument for eating meat recently. That, provided the farming practices are ethical and the animals aren't suffering while they're alive, it's actually not unethical to eat them, as they wouldn't have been alive in the first place were it not for that specific desire. Living an uneventful life and ending up in a burger, while probably not ideal, is an existential net-win for a cow.
