He really does. But we rather not obsess ovef our body parts.

Is there something you'd like to work for in yourself, besides your appearance?

This is equally as ridiculous as the cues thing.

Just because someone takes pride in their appearance does not mean they are objectifying themselves. This is about as feminist as saying, "she was asking for it because she wore a tight top."

I suppose you also believe that the more effort a woman puts in her appearance, the more dimwitted she is?

This is blatant insecurities about other women masked as feminism.

No, you just intend and insist to misunderstand me. That's not me at all.

Isn't it you who are always trying to put others down, often specifically based on their appearance. What's that if not insecurity.

I don't specifically remember putting people down based on their appearance.

I might have a few times and it's slipped my mind but I don't think it's frequent enough to be "always".

The way you strive to target people, to hurt and offend them, it only speaks about your insecurities. You are alienated, you are mortally comparing, you are thin skinned.
And the only one not getting is you.

Try growing as a person, instead of growing your butt compared to the person next to you.

"You" as in plural.

It happens all of the time. It's not a choice; it's evolution.

We instinctively look for things that make a good partner and so we'll focus on things that accentuate sexuality.

So, no matter how great you feel inside, men will still (generally) be more attracted to women who look a certain way.

We'll listen to them more, give way to them easier, see what they say and do in a more favourable light, buy more stuff from them, be more courteous and allow them to influence our decisions.

If you look like a bag of hammers, it doesn't matter how great you feel inside, you will be at a disadvantage. So, if you really care about yourself and no one else, then you'll make yourself look whichever way gets you what you need.

It won't matter that you've being objectified because their opinion has no value to you.
I'm not arguing; I'm explaining why I'm right.

Someone can grow as a person and use exercise to specifically target areas on their body. It's not one or the other.

If you can't do both, that's an issue within yourself.

I don't even know how my appearance is relative here. I already look the way I want to look.

That doesn't exclude the opinions I expressed, feministic as you called them.

Your appearance is relative here because you are a woman (unless you are a homosexual male) and your original argument was that women who do exercise that target specific parts of their body are objectifying themselves.

You later claimed that your SO ran with you because of your character and the scenery and implied that it had nothing to do with how you look.

Raven, Let this be so if you want to remove the comment from the context.
But that is not how I meant it.

Claimed? as in you know better?
For sure that is how it is, it's my personality and his is what's kept us together for nearly half of my life.
Profound enjoyment, no cutting-edge objects.
