I'm just saying that over analyzing text can be counter productive in a place where you can't put a face to the words. It's harder to tell if someone is full of sh!t online than it is offline. You seem to be new, for this day and age at least. A lot of us have seen different phases of different personalities, and it is always a task in itself to keep up with. So, trying to dissect such posts may be a waste of time.

If anyone feels like trying it out.. this test is pretty decent at indicating whether someone is on the spectrum or not (when taken alongside the AQ and other tests.. history..etc).

Be interesting to see what everyone ends up with.

Thank you for filling out this questionnaire.

Your neurodiverse (Aspie) score: 71 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 128 of 200
You are very likely neurotypical

Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 159 of 200
You are very likely neurotypical

It's no surprise that you scored higher on an autism test than me yet again.

So what are you actually saying here.? AsPD may be full of people that are full of $#%^. Since there is a possibility that people are full of $#%^ we should not analyse their texts too much.

For me this way of reasoning is completely bizarre to be honest. I am not saying it is wrong, I just find it strange. You are not the only one thinking like this, I have come across this in various places. I have a completely different view on this than you do. You are entitled to your view of course just as I am entitled to mine. We have just a different way of seeing this corner of our social reality.

So when I pick up a book from a shelf I should read the text with high suspicion. I should not be suspicious about the text as such and the contents of the words.

The only reason why I should be suspicious is because I will never meet the author who died 200 years ago and will never be able to assess the truthfulness of the text because that person was unfortunately born 200 years too early to become exposed to my expert judgement of human behaviour.

@CreamFreak
People can be just as full of $#%^ in person as they are on the internet, if not more. There are things to be garnered through observation and examination of the $#%^ people come up with though, be it true or not. You shouldn't fault someone for being curious, like Miss PuddyTat! Perhaps she understands that there is value in all information, not just what is obviously valuable, if ya can dig that!

Seabreeze, if you're up for it, what do your results for that test look like? I'd like to have the results of someone officially diagnosed with an ASD to compare them to.
